Native advertising is a paid content that matches a publication editorial standards while meeting the audience's expectation.
In another words... it's an advert in disguise.
Targeted advertising
Online ads: if you have been searching for something that specific content will come up in social media as it uses cookies on your computer to search for appropriate advert based on what you have searched for.
Targets a niche group (small specific group of an audience)
Shoppable tags E.g. instagram
Challenges that advertisement may face:
Now that there is a skip button on youtube and many other features, that may be challenging for a lot of advertisement companies as audiences are most likely going to press the skip button and not look at the advert. Also to prevent that and make it a pre-roll advert they have to pay extra on those particular site/social media which makes the company spend more money on promoting the advert.
The other challenges that they may face is the idea for the product as now days people are more interested in a narrative that they are familiar with or something that is trending so it may be difficult for the company to come up with idea that will intrigue the audiences into watching this advert.
